Economic Downfalls

What is going on? Am I the only person who realizes that you can't spend more money than you make, because the point has not been grasped across America or on Wall Street either. I mean, whose bright idea was this: run an entire economic system solely on debt! Of course nothing could go wrong -NOT! Since our government help put this faulty system in place, we the future of America, have to make up for all the mistakes that this generation before us has made. And since people have decided that kids are a hassle and a dent in their lifestyles, we won’t have enough people to work and pay for what’s been done today. Our grandchildren are going to have to pay. What can we do? It sometimes seems like the world is falling apart, what with states legalizing homosexual relationships and many more sinful things becoming more acceptable every day. My mother has told me that all I can do is pray and stay close to God because the way things are playing out it seems the end may be closer then we might have thought. It hit me that it does seem crazy and that there are more wicked people. My dad says that there is not more evil; there is only more openness. With that I leave it to you to think. All I can say is saddle up. Our generation may be in for one bumpy ride.

Public School Ups and Downs

Going to public school has many ups and downs but can teach you a few things also. Besides language, science, history, and math, it teaches you life skills. When I started public school I thought it would be the most amazing thing to meet new people. Don’t get me wrong. I did meet new people but it was not what I expected. As I got older and I went up a few grades everything was different. The kids were different, the words they used were “profound”, and their respect for themselves, or lack of, was different too.

In school, you do get the privilege to meet some wonderful people .You can even meet people who share the same beliefs as you do. However, in public school you do not just meet wonderful students, you meet amazing teachers too. One thing I learned from my teachers was that they don’t only teach you subjects; they are here to teach you life skills if you need them.

When I got to middle school it was a definite shock. Everyone had changed. Kids began to curse, they are rude, and they don’t act like they used to. At first it was a little strange but then I got used to it, which is sad, I know. Another thing that bothers me is when kids start "dating" at such a young age. Public school definitely does have its ups and downs. We hope and pray that GOD will help the children that have changed so much since elementary school.
